I got this lampshade at the thrift store and it was a bit dented and dirty looking so I decided to give it a makeover.

1. I used green suede fabric from an old curtain. After laying the fabric out and rolling the lamp along to measure how much I needed I cut the length with about a ½ inch overlap top and bottom. I also used the hemmed edge of the curtain as my top overlapping edge

2. With a hot glue gun I secured it by the length of the lamp and wrapped it around making sure I glued in tightly after it was wrapped so the nice hemmed edge was sitting on top.

3. I then went around the top and bottom gluing the overlapping edges inside the lamp shade. Once its dry cut the excess off and you’re done.
